Nicky Riddiford

Course Coordinator, Skilled Migrant Programme at Victoria University of Wellington

Nicky Riddiford is a Senior English Language Institute teacher and is course coordinator and teacher of the Workplace Communication Program for Skilled Migrants. She also teaches English for Academic Purposes on the English Proficiency Program and TESOL Classroom Practice on the Graduate Certificate in TESOL course

 

Nicky is a member of the Language in the Workplace Project (LWP) research team and she is currently developing pragmatic training resources that draw on LWP research. She is also involved with several community and professional organisations. As coordinator of the Skilled Migrant Program, she works closely with the Rotary Club of Wellington and the recruitment company (The Johnson Group).

With her many experiences, we are grateful to have her as one of our speakers at our conference relating to mental health and well – being of international students.
